Gail Dines is an activist, public speaker, and professor emerita who has spent her career raising awareness about the sociological impact of pornography, including in her book Pornland: How Porn Has Hijacked Our Sexuality. She also founded the nonprofit organization Culture Reframed which calls pornography a public health crisis. Gail describes how the accessibility of porn—always at the vanguard of technology—has radically changed culture and warped an entire generation’s view of sex. This episode deals frankly with mature themes and may not be suitable for all audiences.
